Hello, Reader. Thank you for visiting Hit or Miss Books, a blog I founded in July, 2014, on a whim. Well, I was reviewing on Goodreads, so I thought, ”Why not create a blog and post my reviews there, too?” Of course, in its early days, Hit or Miss Books looked nothing like it does today. A little makeover was much needed.
It has come a long way, and so have I. I didn’t use to be this confident about sharing my opinion on books, but I realized that an opinion is something subjective. You cannot please everyone with your words. People will always disagree, whatever you say. The only thing you can do is be honest and fair.
My mom used to love reading, so I got my ”Booklover” genes from her. The moment I fell in love with reading was when I was eleven and we moved close to a library. I was getting bored during that one summer in that new environment, so I decided to check it out. Boy. Best decision ever.
I have a wide range of interests, because I’m forever open to trying new things and meeting new people. Always. I’m not a child prodigy, but I like to think I’m fairly skilled at drawing, dancing, school, reviewing and charming people, he-he!
My future still looks a bit unclear to me, because I’m not a hundred percent sure of what I want to spend my life doing, but I do entertain the idea of becoming a librarian. There are just so many things I want to do, such as publish a great book with meaningful themes that will move people, become best friends with C.S. Pacat (in my mind, we’re best buddies already), meet a prince and kindly decline his marriage proposal… the usual.
Thank you for reading. I look forward to you stalking me in a respectful way and perhaps even saying hi? That would be nice. I’d love to hear from you. Happy reading. (Please read Captive Prince, it’s so good!)
