Second year begins and Daisy, Susan, and Esther have taken their friendship commitment to the next level by moving into their “beautiful home” off-campus. But the keys didn’t come without new responsibilities. Unwanted suitor visits, a robbery, and Susan living only a few blocks apart from her ex-boyfriend, McGraw, has made the dorms feel like a haven. The girls are in for a dose of reality when they learn that there’s more to being an adult than paying your own rent.
This is Daisy’s book, truly this time.
I have been waiting for it. Not only do we learn a little about her parents, and even more about herself, but we are also privy to her relationship with fast-forward Ingrid.
You see, Ingrid is not the kind of person to take things slow. She’s an extrovert through and through, whereas Daisy prefers the comfort of her home to partying and meeting new people.
Still, they go on a little adventure together. *wink* *wink* Honestly, I’m not yet sure if she’s the right fit for Daisy. I’m actually listening to an audiobook right now that talks about extroverts and introverts and how they can potentially complete one another, but Ingrid is REALLY full of energy.
I am, however, curious about where their relationship is going. They’re in college, so they’re allowed to have lots of unsupervised fun, but is their infatuation for each other going to last? Maybe not.
Other than that, Esther is looking for another job. Susan is getting sick. About Susan, she really must get over her ex-boyfriend. I can’t believe he IS her ex-boyfriend, because I truly believed in them as a couple, but alas they haven’t been too good to one another in the past. Still, they might reconcile, who knows.
Another great addition to this comic series.
