Lunch Lady can sniff out something rotten like no one else—and there’s definitely something rotten going on in the library. The usually friendly librarians have become cold and secretive. Even Dee can’t seem to crack a smile out of them. What darkness may lurk in the hearts of librarians? Lunch Lady is on the case! And Hector, Terrence, and Dee are along for a wild ride!

This time, it is not cyborgs that want to rule the school or world… it’s librarians!

Right, who ever thought? But yes, they are just so angry at the little amount of people that read books and the little amount of money that goes into books that they will execute their evil plan to destroy other sources of entertainment.

… Unless someone stops them?

You can count on Lunch Lady to fight evil with food-inspired gadgets and the help of multiple sidekicks. While she only had one in the previous book, in this sequel the two kids who messed around last time are actually trying to help here.

This one was not as humorous as the first book, but the action is still great and I don’t believe I could ever get bored reading these crazy stories.

And I quite like what the author did there with the books having magical properties. Imagine if you could conjure characters from a book… Man, how that would make my day, year… life, really.

I’m eager to read the rest!
