The Breakfast Bunch is excited for the upcoming bake sale—and the best part is that it’s raising money for an awesome field trip.  But when all the snacks go missing, it’s no laughing matter.  Someone is sabotaging the bake sale.  But why?

Well I am intrigued.

That ending… This series doesn’t always end on a cliffhanger, but when it does, I am so curious about the evilness in the future tome.

This was actually pretty sweet, no pun intended. There’s a bake sale to raise money so the kids can go on a field trip to the museum.

But someone steals all the baked goods! Was it the teacher who hates sweets, the principal who loves them, the janitors who is just always grumpy… or someone else?

I don’t think I could ever read a story that features cupcakes and not enjoy it. (Additionally, now I really want to make some myself.)

The villain in this one is obvious from the start, as is usually the case, but also unexpected in the sense that we wonder why they have a vendetta—why steal from children??

Also, I don’t know if it’s the rain that intensifies the villainy, but this addition to the series is actually quite atmospheric.
