BLURB:

Meet Marlon Bundo, a lonely bunny who lives with his Grampa, Mike Pence – the Vice President of the United States. But on this Very Special Day, Marlon’s life is about to change forever… With its message of tolerance and advocacy, this charming children’s book explores issues of same sex marriage and democracy. Sweet, funny, and beautifully illustrated, this book is dedicated to every bunny who has ever felt different.

Stink bugs are temporary.
Love is forever.

I have read various picture books in my (short) life.

Some were incredibly-illustrated.
This one isn’t particularly so.

Some were exceptionally-narrated.
This one isn’t particularly so.

Most didn’t leave their mark on me.
This one did.

Most didn’t make my eyes water.
This one did.

Most didn’t bring a smile to my face and held it there for five continuous minutes.
This one did.

Most didn’t prove to me that there is still hope for this world to become better, more accepting of differences.
This… one… did.

Boy bunny is in love with another boy bunny because the heart wants what it wants. Love is so beautiful that everyone is happy for them—everyone except one stinky bug that decides they cannot marry.

But love is so powerful that it wins. When in doubt, listen to your heart: it will tell you the truth, and it will help you deal with stinky bugs that want to crush your dreams.

And of course, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, vote.
