Rose knows it is forbidden to love another guardian. Her best friend, Lissa – the last Dragomir princess – must always come first. Unfortunately, when it comes to gorgeous Dimitri Belikov, some rules are meant to be broken… Then a strange darkness begins to grow in Rose’s mind, and ghostly shadows warn of a terrible evil drawing nearer to the Academy’s iron gates. The immortal undead are closing in, and they want vengeance for the lives Rose has stolen. In a heart-stopping battle to rival her worst nightmares, Rose will have to choose between life, love, and the two people who matter most… but will her choice mean that only one can survive?
Christina Yang: I’m calling it. Time of death: 17:35
Meredith Grey: Hold it… She deserves another chance. Don’t give up on her yet. It’s not her fault Richelle Mead is so cruel to her readers. Clearly, Lola is not the one to blame here.
Christina Yang: Meredith, this is hopeless. Richelle Mead did what she thought was best. Lola knew what she was getting into. Go watch one of Derek’s surgeries and leave me alone to deal with this corpse.
Meredith Grey: Christina, I’m telling you, this is not the end for her. I’ve been in her situation and look at me now alive and well. Or have you forgotten about the time I practically crossed over? *lowers head* Plus Derek is sort of mad at me right now…
Christina Yang: *stares* Yeah, but you’re one in a million and you had everyone fussing over you for days so don’t try to compare her situation with yours. Actually, no one knows why you’re still breathing. Don’t question it. Now go! Go! Go! *shoves Mer out the door*
Me: Someone please revive me already.*
Christina Yang: Oh, shut up.
*So that happened. My death was bound to be somewhat related to Grey’s Anatomy as I am obsessed with this series. I wonder if in the afterlife I could become part of the show. That would be the perfect reward for having endured so many heartbreaks caused by it – very fitting, really. Vampire Academy just gets better and better. I am absolutely terrified to read the rest… but also very excited, gosh!
