When a mysterious thief steals the ancient sword Cleo recovered in Cleopatra In Space, Book One: Target Practice, Cleo is determined to get it back, but her teachers at Yasiro Academy forbid her from risking her life. Stuck at school, Cleo is having a hard time adjusting to her newfound popularity and responsibility. And when she learns more about the prophecy that names her the savior of the galaxy and the time tablets that could decide her fate, she must go on a dangerous journey to find them before they can fall into the wrong hands.
Cleopatra’s adventure continues.
Or shall I say her ‘‘prophecy’’ continues? She doesn’t like it, but she’s the chosen one—the girl supposed to save the world and bring peace.
At least she gets to kick ass along the way, which she adores. In this particular volume, she fights against an unexpected enemy who is set on stealing an important weapon.
The action scenes in this one are amazing. I think this book could have no dialog at all and I would still find it fantastic, mostly because Cleo expresses herself better with her actions than with her words.
Though not everyone agrees with her personality. If she had her way, she would fight enemies all day and night—and definitely leave algebra behind.
What I like most about this author is that he makes every character sound interesting. Even the main villain makes me curious and the enemy Cleo fights actually managed to get some sympathy out of me.
Cannot wait for more.
