Friendship to the max.

I could read a hundred books in a row with a high focus on friendship and would not even remotely die of ennui, because great friendships is what I like to experience and see in the world, including my reads.

Andy, Claire and Jolene are three witches who live together and perform magic. While they are away, someone breaks into their house and stoles powerful objects. The three girls want them back, so they go on a road trip to hunt them down.

Are you not excited? I was excited about this book as soon as I saw the cover and realized it would be about witches. Although they are still present in literature and the graphic world, witches have lost popularity these past few years, which is a shame because they are my favourite creatures pertaining to the fantasy world.

These witches did not disappoint me. I didn’t even need anyone to tell me they had powers, because I could see them putting their powers to use in the story. There’s nothing that underwhelms me more than characters with magical powers rarely using the latter. Andy, Claire and Jolene truly rock. Even though I connected to Claire the most, seeing that we have similar personalities, I found myself enjoying reading about the three heroines equally.

A little bit of romance, mystery, action and a lot of adventure, girl power and magic. Well done.
