BLURB:

Friends: They are there when we just want to hang out, or need someone to listen. They make us laugh, and lend a shoulder to cry on. Comic artist Liz Climo captures the true spirit of friendship with this quirkily charming collection. Her animal kingdom is a place where sharks, otters, porcupines, and even crustaceans come together to show the best of what friends have to offer.hitormissbooksdaisies

I could read a hundred books like this one. And I know it seems like I’m exaggerating. ‘‘A *hundred* books, REALLY?’’ But I don’t think I could ever get enough of such sweet panels with animals showing me the meaning of friendship.

I thought this was even better than Liz Climo’s previous graphic novel, The Little World of Liz Climo. The animals are cleverer and funnier. So there really isn’t anything that I could complain about.

Except maybe the length. It’s so short! Even shorter than the book mentioned above. I should be glad it’s at least one hundred pages long, but like I said, I want to read a hundred books like this one.

Because it’s such a feel-good transportable treasure, you know? You can bring it with you on the bus, metro, plane. You can gift it to children and adults alike. These cute little beings deserve your attention.
