Minuscule, Adorable Reviews for Good and Awful and Amazing Books (LOL, What a Title)

Hello, friends, readers, perusers! As you know, bloggers have lives, too. Sometimes, they don’t feel like writing a review for a book, so they just tweet something about it instead. I usually try my best to write complete reviews, but sometimes I just don’t feel like it. BUT, I still want to share some of the books I’ve read this year, even though I have not reviewed them properly. Here they are, them (mostly) tweet-sized reviews!

Ivory and Bone by Julie Eshbaug ❤ The only thing remotely good about this book is the cover. Am I the only one who felt deeply uncomfortable being spoken to by the main character as if I were his lover?

Uprooted by Naomi Novik  ❤❤❤❤❤ I think this book was uprooted from Heaven’s grounds and magically brought to Earth.

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins  ❤❤❤❤ Pfffiou… I feel like I’ve been holding my breath for 325 pages and only now finally exhaled.

Kings Rising (Captive Prince, #3) by C.S. Pacat  ❤❤❤❤❤ THE MOST PERFECT ENDING TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY ON PLANET EARTH.

Stormbreaker (Alex Rider, #1) by Anthony Horowitz ❤❤❤❤ read count: 2 LONG LIVE ALEX RIDER. (the king of spies) (invincible man) – (seriously, he should have died at least a dozen times)

The Moth & the Flame (The Wrath & the Dawn, #0.25) by Renee Ahdieh  ❤❤❤ ‘‘Despina,’’ she whispered. ‘‘My name is Despina.’’ Jalal is such a flirt. He and Despina have the funniest and wittiest interactions. They are good together. It’s unfortunate we didn’t get to see anything more than a single vigorous kiss from the keen lovers. I want more of them. Finnikin of the Rock (Lumatere Chronicles, #1) by Melina Marchetta  ❤   Lovely clear writing and good characterization but 1) Evanjalin annoys me, 2) it’s not that original and 3) I’m so darn bored. Which leads me to… dnf.
